Features
Price Firewall compares every price change with the variant's last safe price and applies the rules you choose. Example amounts below are shown in US dollars; the app uses your store currency.
Alert or rollback: on Free every rule can only alert. On Pro, a rule set to Automatic rollback restores the last safe price, but only if the price is still the flagged value, so a newer price you set is never overwritten.
Zero price
What it detects
A variant whose price is set to exactly 0.
Why it matters
A free product sells immediately and can be hard to reverse once orders arrive.
In Alert mode
An incident is recorded and an email is sent if an alert email is set. The price stays as changed.
With Automatic rollback (Pro)
The last safe price is restored. This is the default in Protect mode.
Large price drop
What it detects
A price that falls by more than the configured percentage (default 40%). A zero price is handled by the Zero price rule instead.
Why it matters
Typos and wrong percentages can sell products far below their intended price.
In Alert mode
An incident is recorded and an email is sent if an alert email is set. The new price stays.
With Automatic rollback (Pro)
The last safe price is restored. This is the default in Protect mode.
Large price increase
What it detects
A price that rises by more than the configured percentage (default 100%).
Why it matters
An extra digit or a wrong currency conversion can make a product unsellable.
In Alert mode
An incident is recorded and an email is sent if an alert email is set. The new price stays. This is the default in Protect mode.
With Automatic rollback (Pro)
Available in Custom mode by setting this rule to Automatic rollback: the last safe price is restored.
Invalid compare-at price
What it detects
A compare-at price that is at or below the selling price (or not positive), which would show a fake or negative discount.
Why it matters
It misleads shoppers and can create pricing-compliance problems.
In Alert mode
An incident is recorded and an email is sent if an alert email is set. The values stay. This is the default in Protect mode.
With Automatic rollback (Pro)
Available in Custom mode: the last safe price and compare-at price are restored.
Bulk price changes
What it detects
Many variants changing together within a configured time window (default: 20 variants within 60 seconds).
Why it matters
A wrong import, bulk edit or app can damage a whole catalog in seconds.
In Alert mode
Bulk changes are detected on Free and Pro. An incident is recorded and an email is sent if an alert email is set.
With Automatic rollback (Pro)
Automatic rollback of bulk changes is opt-in in Custom mode; it is not enabled by Protect mode.

Email alerts
Set an alert email in Settings and receive a message for each incident. Alerts are sent from Price Firewall <noreply@skydev.tech>. If email fails, protection is unaffected.
Incident history
Every detection is recorded with the safe price, detected price, rule, action, status and time.
Safe, Protect and Custom modes
Alert only, recommended automatic protection, or your own thresholds and actions. Learn about modes
New variants are never flagged
Variants added later become baselines automatically. The first catalog sync only reads your prices.
