Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Price Firewall ("the app" or "the service"), provided by Boro Radojčić ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app you agree to them on behalf of the store you install it on. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.
1. The service
Price Firewall monitors variant prices in your Shopify store, flags changes that match the rules you configure, records incidents, can send email alerts and, on eligible Pro configurations, can automatically restore the last safe price. The app reacts after Shopify reports a change; it does not prevent changes from being made and is not a backup of your store.
2. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for your Shopify account, your catalog, your prices and the settings you choose in the app.
- You should review your protection mode, thresholds and actions, keep your alert email current, and check incidents. Settings that are too strict or too loose can flag legitimate changes or miss unwanted ones.
- You must have authority to install apps on the store and to allow the app to read and update product prices.
3. Plans and billing
Free includes monitoring of up to 25 variants, alert-only protection and 7-day incident history. Pro ($14.99 / month, plus any applicable taxes) includes monitoring of up to 5,000 variants, automatic rollback, Protect and Custom modes and 90-day incident history. Current plan details are shown on the app's Shopify App Store listing and in the plan selection page.
Subscriptions are billed by Shopify through your Shopify invoice, under Shopify's billing terms. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel through Shopify's plan management for the app; uninstalling the app cancels the subscription. Refunds, proration and trials follow Shopify's billing rules and any terms shown when you subscribe. If a subscription cannot be verified with Shopify, the app treats the store as Free until it can.
4. No guarantee against every pricing mistake
Whether a change is detected or rolled back depends on your plan and configuration, the monitored variant limit, the rules you enabled, the timing and delivery of Shopify notifications, Shopify API availability and rate limits, and supported conditions (for example, the app will not overwrite a price that changed again after the flagged change, and it does not restore deleted products or variants). Orders may be placed at a wrong price before a change is detected or reversed. You remain responsible for reviewing prices and orders.
5. Availability
We aim to keep the service available and working, but it may be interrupted by maintenance, failures, or issues with Shopify or other providers. We may change, improve or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes where practical.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service: for example by attempting to access other merchants' data, interfering with or overloading the service, reverse engineering it except where the law allows, or using it in violation of law or of Shopify's terms.
7. Intellectual property
The app, its software and its content belong to Boro Radojčić or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for your store while installed. Your store data remains yours; you allow us to process it to provide the service as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Third-party services
The app runs on Shopify and relies on Shopify's platform and APIs, and on hosting and email providers. We are not responsible for third-party services. Price Firewall is an independent app and is not made or endorsed by Shopify.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, sales or data, arising from use of or inability to use the service, including orders placed at incorrect prices. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if required to protect the service or other users. After uninstall, data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and, for material changes, inform merchants through the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise.
